Bunhead
is a model based on the seventeenth century imperial palace precinct of Isfahan, located on the Naqsh-e Jahan Square.
Modernist shapes in what is traditionally a ceramic (tiled) wall.
Much modified in this model, the walls facing the square hold quotes from Sol LeWitt's shape inventory, replacing the elegant original patterning of tiles.
